Fibre optic cable has many uses in this day and age, and as technology advances and more extreme amounts of data transfer are needed it's uses become more necessary. Fibre optic cable is used mainly as the backbone of a network to provide a very large amount of data.
Primarily fibre will connect to a server before being distributed to other network points via a copper link (see our copper section for more info). A multiple fibre network may be required when you have multiple servers across a large site, or multiple buildings with a network requiring a longer distance than 90 metres.
Here at PCS we have been installing fibre networks for over a decade. All of our engineers are highly skilled and experienced in not only installing and terminating fibre networks, but also diagnosing issues within an existing network using the latest, high tech testing and fault finding equipment.
